Janet Joakim Is Confronted For Abuse Of Power

Another local activist managed to criticize Janet Joakim without being hauled off the dias by the Barnstable Police. It took five petitions and several hundred signatures to get Joakim's recall scheduled. While the council did everything in their power to make the scheduling of the recall election as confusing as possible for the voters, the recall has been scheduled at Marstons Mills East Elementary School on Osterville W. Barnstable Road in Marstons Mills from 7AM to 8PM on October 30, 2008.
